The themes of my paintings are drawn from my passion for wildlife, often juxtaposed within a still life setting.  My style is realistic, placing animals and birds amongst fruit and vegetables, or incorporating vintage pieces, which I have collected over the years.

I paint in oils, with the still life elements of my compositions set up in the studio.  Animals or birds are chosen to compliment the arrangement, giving a quirkiness to the combination of natural history and carefully chosen inanimate pieces.

I aim to raise a smile with my subject matter and style of painting, which is a modern twist on a traditional genre, that has been popular throughout history.
